Job Title: Indoor Apartment Painter - Escape the Heat!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Indoor Apartment Painter to prepare and paint apartment interiors, ensuring units are clean, attractive, and move-in ready for residents. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, drywall repair, painting techniques, and color matching while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Apartment painters typically prepare walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other interior surfaces for painting and perform touch-ups between resident turnovers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare interior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching holes, and applying primer as needed.
  • Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and other apartment surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
  • Repair minor drywall damage, nail holes, cracks, and surface imperfections before painting.
  • Match paint colors and finishes to property standards.
  • Protect floors, fixtures, appliances, and furniture using drop cloths and masking materials.
  • Complete apartment turnovers within required deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Perform touch-up painting in occupied and vacant units.
  • Maintain painting equipment, tools, and supplies in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly store and dispose of paint materials.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized throughout each project.
  • Report maintenance issues such as water damage, mold, or structural concerns to management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous residential, apartment, or maintenance painting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation. 
  • Experience with drywall repair and patching.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to work in enclosed indoor environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely use ladders, rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.

Typical Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime during apartment turnover periods.
